The Technology Department at Paisley Grammar School occupies a large area on the ground floor and consists of 3 large workshop areas and 4 graphics rooms.  We have 40 high specification pc's which run various software packages.  Pupils have the opportunity to experience a range of activities including designing and manufacturing, computer aided drawing, technical drawing, desk top publishing, free hand sketching, rendering and now computer aided manufacture with the new 3D printer.

This website can be used by Teachers, Parents and Pupils to support Learning and Teaching.  Feel free to e-mail us with any suggestions, your feedback is welcomed.

We currently offer Technologies to pupils in S1-S3 which covers a broad range of experiences and outcomes.  This provides a sample of the work that pupils may do if they choose a Technologies subject when they reach senior school (S4-S6).  We offer  Woodwork and Metalwork, Design & Manufacture and Graphic Communication at National 4 and National 5 level.  Pupils can then progress into Higher Product Design or Higher/Advanced Higher Graphic Communication depending on the ability.

We also offer extra curricular activities and pupils at Paisley Grammar School have been successful in both the Go4Set and EES competitions run by the EDT for the past few years.
